Let me introduce you to a dear NPO that is dear to my heart. Projeto Esperanca in Curitiba- Brazil.

Projeto Esperança has been responsible for the social area of ​​YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Without Borders since 2002, serving the population living nearby the YWAM base, one of the most violent and irregular housing areas in the Uberaba neighborhood, in Curitiba-PR- Brazil.

Most of this region is characterized by a low quality of life, poor infrastructure, poverty, high crime rate, drug trafficking and consumption, in addition to many dysfunctional families.

The Projeto Esperança was created to enable the development of this community in all areas where there are needs, through workshops and courses. Our mission is to enable the physical, social, intellectual and spiritual development of children, adolescents, young people and adults in vulnerable situations

Courses offered to the community

  • English for teenagers (partnership with Colégio Bom Jesus)
  • Soccer for teenagers (boys)
  • Sewing
  • Music (violin; guitar; cello, keyboard; singing and choir)
